For 30 plus years I was misdiagnosed. Every new season I would have a cough that would not go away - I coughed only when I talked and my job required me to answer phones. I was on cough meds and allergy meds, tested for lung disease and heart disease. I went to numerous allergist and specialist. In 2020 I went to Dr. Patterson. In one 3 hour session I had a plan and a new way of living. He took me off more than 8 meds and I left with 2 inhalers and one pill. Was completely dismissed by this doctor. He interrupted me, did not understand that I was still having symptoms and seemed mad at me, even though he was the one who did not offer a single test or medication. Was one of the strangest medical appointments I’ve been to. Did not offer a follow-up appointment and left me feeling very disheartened. Will be looking for a different allergist/immunologist.
Dr. Patterson literally changed my life. He found answers that Mayo Clinic didn’t.
