Very helpful and pleasant staff....I have been doing genealogy research for many years and had to phone lots of cemeteries. Not all have excellent records and not all staff are willing to take the time to help. I commend Abbie who when I first called was busy with families which was first priority. She took the names I was searching for and said she would call back. That she did with amazing information and was so very pleasant to deal with. The cemetery was worse than a used car lot. The minister went five minutes over the allotted time, and their personnel interrupted my father's service to inform us that we owed $150 for exceeding the time limit. This, after we had already paid over $5,000. To interrupt a grieving family at such a vulnerable moment, while we were laying our beloved father to rest, was beyond tasteless—especially for an amount clearly outlined in the contract and something we had no issue paying. They are misleading and only care about getting as much money out of grieving families as they can. My father passed away and we were told over and over that the army provides a “free” marker. Implying that there were no other costs. Our representative said to come back this week and all we have to do is figure out what we want to put on that “free” marker.
