In April 2025, we hired Acacia General Contractors to renovate our home following a devastating fire that completely damaged the interior and roof. From our very first meeting at the property, Eric Orellana, the owner, took the time to explain the entire reconstruction process and gave us confidence that our home was in capable hands. Eric was hired to rebuild a house from a water loss. The day we met he presented himself well explaining that most of his clients are from water and fire damage claims. He was aware of the software required by the insurance company to approve Eric's scope of work estimate which established trust in me. From the time I paid him the 20 % to start the work there was one excuse to another on why he couldn't start. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and extended grace. That was my first mistake .
