I came back for my 2nd visit after trying the different flan flavors. This time I decided to try the farina. I think my picture can describe the farina. I ordered the farina walked 4 blocks before being able to eat it.
I always come here for the Pan Sobao (I always get the ham and cheese!) and for to go I go for the brownie with guava but today it was sold out but he has a new item that has guava! So I bought the guava loaf!
I love Abuelita’s. Aizek puts his heart into the food here. The breakfast is solid and reminds me of the breakfast you get at a panaderia in Puerto Rico. I usually get a mallorca and the chocoquito caf�, but everything on the menu is amazing. If you want quesitos from here, you need to get here early because they do sell out. The menu rotates on a monthly basis so the farina and flan flavors change.
Omg just wanted to say I went there today first thing in the morning after work and this absolutely made my morning!!!! The owner is fantastic and so sweet…… the iced cocoquito latte was amazing and the sandwich was absolutely delicious…. Felt like I was in my island San German PR….. Please keep up the great work in your establishment because people like me appreciate good authentic PR food and drinks!!!!!
This spot was high on my must-visit list, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The rich culture packed into this cozy little place was impressive. Let's start with the owner, who was incredibly welcoming and delightful. He took great pride in ensuring his customers enjoyed the craft he created.
