We had a great experience with Absolute Radon. They were fast, efficient and clean. We were really disappointed to have to fix the radon in our house, but they got it fixed quickly. A lot of companies were going to take awhile to even come out and look. They came and looked and then were able to get it done in about a 2 week window. Shawn and Caden (spelling?), the guys that did the project, were very polite, professional and friendly.
The work was explained very well and went smoothly.
Their installation reduces the amount of radon in your house, that's probably the most important part. They also make sure it is done in a location that is appropriate for your home and work with you to try and determine the best place to put it.
Of 3 companies contacted for a bid, only the owner of this company, Justin, came out and did a physical inspection. Although his bid was the highest (only a couple hundred), I also felt it was the most realistic given the onsite inspection. The installer did an excellent job, placed the interior pipe to be as unobtrusive as possible. Radon went from 10-12 to less than 1, and has remained at less than 1 since then (based on a continuous digital monitor). Very satisfied.
Highly recommend. Justin from Absolute actually came out to look at our house (in contrast to other companies that did not come out) to design a system we both agreed upon before actually given us an estimate. He listened to my concerns regarding not having the exterior ventilation system detract from our home’s exterior appeal and came up with a workable solution.
