I live in their two oaks apartments in avenel. It's a fairly new building (within the last 5 years) and it has nice finishes. However, despite the building being so new, the air conditioner isn't working. I called Friday morning and they said someone would be out to fix it. I waited all day and at 530, they told me no one would be able to look at it until Monday. I was given a time of 1 on Monday. It is now past 330 and still no one has been out here. I like my apartment. I’ve been here a year and a half but today opened up my eyes to who exactly I’m dealing with here. I pay almost 1700$ in rent, yet I was treated like I’m disposable during an ER crisis. I locked myself out of my apartment with my 1 y/o (mom brain) and no $ of course just my car keys. Was the first tenant in our unit @ 1400 St. Georges Ave. Unit was very nice and location is good. Many shopping options and restaurants. BUT Renter beware! The management company is not responsive to issues you have in your unit and will absolutely try and take your security deposit after move out. Our AC unit was dripping water into the catch below and not draining appropriately. Once the catch filled with water the unit shut off.
