This was my first visit to Absolute Hair and I'm very pleased with the outcome. The shampoo treatment, head massage, hot towels and personal attention made me feel very special. (I'd love to be able to go every week just for the shampoo treatment!!).Kirsten listened to what I wanted and as we looked at photos on my phone of styles I liked, she explained what would be best for my hair, face shape and lifestyle. She consulted me and talked about what she was doing and why. The cut is fabulous. Just what I was wanting.
Well worth the drive from Upper Hutt! Amberley did a fantastic job. Very professional and knowledgeable. This place gives the posh spa experience without breaking the bank. Hair wash & scalp massage, complementary drinks, warm towel & hand lotion, and a blow dry and style at the end. Also a convenient location off the main road with beautiful views of the hills out the windows! I highly recommend!
I love all the extra touches at Absolute Hair, from the drink or snack, the hot towel, hands cream, massage chair, head massage, makes a hair appointment like a spa treatment. I've had both Annalise and Sarah cut my hair and both did a great job, were friendly, listened and offered good advice. Grateful to have Absolute Hair in Waikanae.
I am extremely impressed with my hair cut and the quality of the service, having been used to a top hairdresser in Wellington, I am delighted to find such a good local hairdresser.
Sarah did a really good job to put foils (highlights/lowlights) in my salt & pepper hair and gave me an excellent restyle cut. However, if you opt for treatments (like olaplex) it can get expensive. I recommend asking for a quote before agreeing to extras so you don't get a shock at the pay desk. Overall I was very happy with my new hairstyle and can recommend Sarah White as a stylist who listens and does a fine job and Amberley who washed my hair and did the treatment and head massage.
