SCAM! The repair man had no idea how to fix our washing machine, so he told us there were major problems with the motor and it would cost over $500 to fix. We nearly went out and bought a new washing machine because of this. We decided to have GE take a look at it first, though. GE found a loose bold that holds up the agitator.
