I had been waiting for ABS Kids to open their center in East County since Mon, Oct 2, 2023 at 2:58 PM (son was 4) when I was contacted by them via email since I was on their interest list. Overtime, they sent a ton of emails asking me to confirm that my child's information hadn't changed but never mentioned when the facility would open after they first told me Fall 2023 then Jan - Feb 2024. 2026 Thu, Jan 15 at 6:15 AM (son is 6) is when I finally got an email to start the docusign paperwork. All of the staff who I interacted with at the Mira Mesa location, were so nice and made me feel at home from the start. My son was excited to arrive every day and I was impressed by his improvements in sign language skills and following directions in just a couple of months of attendance.
