Best Pizza and steaks EVER!!! – My husband and I are new to the area and we needed to find a local pizza shop and boy did we ever. We tried a few others in the area and they don't compare. The pizza is loaded with toppings and the steak fills the bun. We also tried their BBQ chicken steak and it was great. Real chunks of chicken. The staff is always so friendly when you walk in. They always greet you promptly and they always accomodate my picky eating habits. Try them you'll love it!!!
Abruzzi Pizza I like Abruzzi's spaghetti meals when I don't feel like cooking and pizza just won't do. The food tastes home-made, the portions are nice and the prices are great.
Not bad for a local joint... – it;s a good local joint. better than most of the other joints in the area (especially lima pizza, or anywhere in media)
Good This is a pretty good pizza, but everything else on the menu is sort've "bleh." The service is friendly and the delivery times are good - overall a nice and fairly priced pizza place.
I just moved to Brookhaven and my friends recommended that I try Abruzzi Pizza. Wow, what an experience. I met the owner Gene, what a nice person. I told him that I was from out of town and he offered me samples and when I placed my order it was made delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a great dinner. The service was welcoming and I am glad that I discovered my new pizza shop!!!!!
TERRIFIC FOOD & SERVICE! – We order from Abruzzi all the time, and their food is consistently good. Plus they are always very nice and courteous. The only thing is I wish they had a large parking area, it can get tricky trying to get out of there during the dinner rush. But overall, we LOVE this place and will continue to order from them.
Disagree with other review – I visit the village of Valle San Giovanni (vallesangiovanni_dot_com) in the Abruzzo Region of Italy often and know that the food at Abruzzi Pizza is authentic and quite good. Sometimes people eating genuine Italian pizza are disappointed when the have the real thing. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed! Great for families and groups.
Horrible Food! – Our food was absolutely horrible! We ordered a small veggie pizza and a large Italian hoagie without oil. Once delivered, the pizza was thinner than the wax paper under it and I couldn't even lift it onto a plate. Also, it was very doughy and I think it wasn't cooked completely. The hoagie had so much oil on it that the oil was dripping out of it. When I called to complain, they offered to either re-make our food or give us credit. I said we'd take the credit because we made microwave meals since we really c... read more
