I love this hospital, both of my children were born at this hospital, I’m pregnant with what will be my 3rd live birth and up till today planned on having him here, but now I’m not so sure. My OB is on surgical rotation here and we absolutely love her so we plan to stay for that reason only, but please beware of the labor and delivery triage. Dr Jacob R Russell is a horrible doctor that refuses to listen to his patients in particular black patients. With a Blood Pressure that is 173/128 when I told him I was in pain and the drugs He wanted to give me I couldn’t take he told me I could leave. When I protested he called the police to have me removed. He didn’t care about the care of black people and doesn’t care what your BP is dangerously high. You guys discharged my father last night 12/31/2020 after an accident and sent him home walking???? He’s 69 and has really bad memory from having a stroke. I complained to the hospital and they didn’t even care!!!! I don’t understand why I wasn’t contacted. I’m his daughter and care taker and instead of notifying me he was in an accident you let him walk home bloody and he was barely able to walk.. Mitchell the registering girl here is so rude all I asked for was for my email to be updated and she gave me attitude when I told her I hope you can have better customer service and train your employees to be better.

RecommendedMy husband had a cardiac cath done on Wednesday at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus and from registration to cardiac cath lab the staff was outstanding. Deb Penna registered us quickly and professionally. Barb, Hazel, Jeff and Sandy in the Cath Lab were wonderful and put us at ease. Dr. Malholtra did a great job with a radial access that minimized the time we spent post cath. Took my 89 year old mom to Abrazo. Only one of us (my wife and I) allowed to stay with her in the ER waiting room. The other has to stay in the car. Ridiculous.
