We had an excellent experience with our divorce mediator, Michelle. She was professional, fair, and incredibly patient throughout a very emotional process. Michelle explained everything clearly, kept discussions productive, and helped us reach agreements that felt respectful and balanced. I’m truly grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a calm, constructive approach to divorce.

Mediation is very stressful for all parties involved, but Michelle not only listened, but heard the priorities and concerns and was able to use her mediation skills to keep the negotiations moving forward in a positive direction. As a result, the outcome was both reasonable and favorable. Although I was not a party involved in the mediation, I found Michelle to be both personable and professional, and I highly recommend her to anyone needing mediation services.

We had mediation with Michelle and we were very pleased with her mediation skills and her ability to control the parties involved. Michelle was non biased and very helpful in getting my case resolved to a very satisfactory outcome . I would definitely recommend anybody going through the difficult process of mediation to ask if Michelle Cortez could mediate as she was wonderful

Good day, Michelle made me feel really uncomfortable, during meditation, I felt distraught, I couldn’t think right after she spoke to me in a way that made me feel like I was a Nobody! Would never use Michelle Cortez again for meditation she is over priced and will make you feel like a nobody when you leave her office! Look at your options!

While she may have a lot of knowledge, the condescending verbiage used clearly showed that she took a side. Much of the feedback wasn't objective. I left feeling unsafe in a system that won't see me and my experiences, but they would relish the notes that she gave to the judge.
