To anyone who wants an intimate experience during your wedding this is the place to choose. My wife and I are from Alabama and got married here 02/20/26. The professionalism and care they handled our wedding with was unexpected but exceptional, with options that didn’t empty our pockets.
We had our micro wedding with above the mist mountainside on March 5th! They were wonderful! They made the planning seamless and worry free! They were very professional during planning and day-of. Our coordinator Jimmy made sure the exact version of my bridal entrance song played, even though the MP3 wasn’t working. Our officiant Joey did an AMAZING ceremony that we will cherish, and Valerie did amazing on the photographs that we’ve gotten to see so far! Wedding was beautiful and the view was amazing! We picked the mountain view, it was spectacular! Our officiant Ryan was the sweetest and our photographer Valerie was amazing! She went above and beyond for us!
The lack of attention from a company in this business is astounding. I requested a custom quote on their website. In the “tell us more” section, I laid out where I wanted the ceremony and why, exactly who would be attending, etc as this would be an elopement with bride, groom, and children only. I stated that none of the prebuilt packages offered what I was looking for. Booked them for my March 6 wedding. Booked them completely online without ever seeing the venue or visiting them in person. So you can imagine making sure everything goes smoothly takes a lot of communication. Which was not an issue at all with the crew Above the Mist. I got the brides bliss package and I love that it includes many things such as the music, officiant, a cake, floral and other things.
