It's been 2 months so far and the experience has been TERRIBLE. The RBT has shown limited motivation to work, despite feedback from her supervisor. This has caused regression with my daughter's communication skills. RBT cancellation rate is high. Even with the provided opportunities for makeup days, she still refuses. My daughter is non-verbal and it seems the RBT is non-verbal as she rarely communicates with her. I am hoping to get another RBT, otherwise look for a suitable option.
It's been 9 weeks since our evaluation and we haven't heard anything still. I've reached out more times than I can count and just this last week I've been able to speak to someone on the phone. Still no end in sight on when we may get answers. So disappointed.
It’s great!! My 15 year old is really learning a lot. Everything from simple everyday tasks to much more complex things. We have had our BT since early January and it’s just great!! I mean it took forever for the them to finally send someone, but once they did it’s been amazing!
It was a great experience dealing with the therapist and smooth transitioning.
