I was extremely frustrated with this experience. I simply needed a prescription refill because there were no refills remaining. When I called the office, I was told there would be a $25 fee just to request the refill over the phone. Instead, I sent a message through the patient portal, only to be told I needed to schedule an appointment. I paid my $40 copay, had my blood pressure checked, and spent less than five minutes with the nurse practitioner before my prescription was refilled.
