We hired Bernie Zeledon and his crew to remove popcorn, paint all interior, install laminate downstairs and install granite countertops, not knowing he used his own unlicensed men to install electrical and plumbing upgrades. Several men were apparent alcoholics and one was an undocumented illegal. Bernie wanted payment in cash, apparently paying his crew “under the table”.
