Das Hostel war für australische Verhältnisse günstig und hatte dennoch einiges zu bieten! Es liegt zwar nicht direkt am Strand, dennoch ist es sehr schön angelegt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Ich würde wieder kommen. Insbesondere die große Küche war praktisch und man kann auch waschen.
The receptionists were great! The guy on reception was so friendly and remembered names - the girl who did the quiz was so much fun too! The hostel events were fun and a super way to meet new people. Kitchen was pretty tight squeeze, carnage at meal times. The pool was good and rooms were fine too. They give a 10% discount for Australia Zoo which is good, and the bus stop for the zoo bus stops right outside!
We had really good experience at the property, and the staff was very good.
Overall, it was a good stay and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and kindly allowed me to check in a little earlier, which I really appreciated. The main area for improvement is cleanliness. The carpets in the bedroom looked quite worn and could be cleaner, which affected the overall impression. I would still recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking for an affordable option, but I think improving the cleaning standards would make the experience even better.
