sometimes ABO Plasma is okay but mostly they do not know what they are doing. depending on the nurse and managers that day you can be rejected for anything they make up and they do make stuff up because i have called the FDA to verify what they tell me. their medical staff hates when you don't 'obey' and accept what they say, FDA scripture or not. for those of you who do not know, the FDA strictly regulates plasma donation. but like all regulations from the federal government, those rules are subject to interpretation. havin... read more
This was my first time ever donating at ABO Plasma, and I honestly had such a great experience. I was pretty nervous going in, but the entire staff was kind, patient, and sincere from start to finish. It all started with my intake specialist, Sarah. She really set the tone for the whole visit. I’ve been coming to A.B.O. Plasma for about two years and never had major issues until recently. On January 14th, I was stuck by someone who clearly wasn’t ready for their day. The first stick was fine until Natiah tried to “fix” it — she started digging around in my arm, going further up than she should have.
