I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Eric when he and his I Band played The Zepher Club in Salt Lake City, Utah! What an awesome gentleman! He signed me a copy of his contract from that night, October 11, 1997...the club has since closed but just seeing and meeting him and hearing him do my all time favorite song "Sky Pilot"...well, it was a dream come true...still have his autograph and contract...<3
I loved Sam Cooke's music. I would see him when he came to the Regal Theater and one time say on the first row. I was mesirize. I remember he died 12-11-1964. I went to his funeral and sat on the fourth row. It was crowed and he looked great. When his brother LC cane in I was shocked he reminded of him so much. I wrote a poem regarding his death and it was published in the Chicago Defender. SAM COOKE YOU SEND ME. RIP
I grew up listening to the Animal's music. ABKCO is doing a great job.
