I wouldn't suggest this provider. On my first visit with Dr. Abitz, I was told she wanted to do a biopsy on my uterus. She told me it would not hurt. That I would feel some pressure and a pinch. Mind you I also was on my menstrual cycle. Dr. Abitz provided no options of pain meds. Over the counter, numbing agents. Had an appointment today with dr Abitz and she entered the room without my correct information & then told me that I was probably going to miscarry. Not only did she get my information wrong .. but even if it were true that I was going to miscarry… she delivered the information SO insensitively while my boyfriend & best friend were in the room. This provider is extremely unprofessional. She did not bother going over very important details about the treatment I received, nor the very harmful long-term side effects of the treatment. When I tried to ask questions about this specific medication I felt ignored and invalided. She told me there were no side effects of this medication other than spot bleeding and that people lie about the side effects. Please stay away from this doctor! She has very bad bedside manners and is unprofessional. She will make your life a living Hell! My friend saw her and she is very unsatisfied with the care she received from her.
