One of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. I went to Jefferson Neurology in Blue Bell while pregnant, desperate for help with severe migraines and concern over a brain cyst affecting natural birth. Instead of being evaluated or given safe options, I was dismissed almost immediately by the Nurse Practitioner, and I was told an MRI couldn’t be done because “you’re not dying and we can’t risk killing the baby,” and sent home in tears with no plan or support. My husband and I have been going to the Neurology Group for probably 10 years and have NEVER had a problem. I started with Dr. McHarg and then started going to Elana along with my husband. She is always on time, asks questions, listens to my questions, and has been nothing but helpful and kind. I would highly recommend her!
My 24 yr old daughter, who is also a licensed Nurse, waited 7 months for an appointment with Malcolm McHarg and after paying our $80 copay, he started off the appointment NOT having her MRI That was just done in feb and our family Doctor the fight for.. The office never reached out to us Because we can access it in her online portal, apparently they can't. He greeted her by saying describe in one or two words your complaint And when my daughter tried to use a full sentence he cut her off. He alsowould not listen to any of he... read more
