This is an update to a review from several years ago. I'm very pleased with the treatment I'm receiving with Ballad and NP Yates. If Dr. Roop (spelling?) is still with this location, I recommend that you ask for another provider. Read the review below for details. Abingdon Internal Medicine is the best primary care provider i have ever been to. The staff is wonderful and the Doctors/Nurse Practitioners really listen to you and do everything within their power to make sure you get the correct treatment. You can truly tell that they care and don't treat you like a number. I also have a very big fear of needles and the phlebotomist was able to calm me down and make me laugh which made that part of my visit that much better. I cannot sing their praises enough!
For 30 years or more I saw Dr. Robinette and he was an excellent physician! Upon his retirement I was seeing a FNP and well pleased with her until she was replaced with Dr Rupe. He has been great and very attentive in treating my health issues. I have always received the best treatment from all staff including the nurses & phlebotomist department.
