Dr Higinbothom is one of the best doctors in our area. But his office staff is so awful and that is why I no longer go there. I just tried to call and pay a bill and I heard them pick the phone up and hang it up. It's really a shame because Dr H really is a great doctor.
I don't know why they even have a phone. They won't answer it or call you back when you leave a voicemail. I am also a patient at JMH Cancer Center and they tried to call for some lab results and they wouldn't answer the phone or call back on a voicemail that was left for them. I talked to Dr. Bruce about the phone problem but he said he just worked there. I am going to find out who the owner is and try to get something done.
Very bad experience today. I'm not a young person and needed help going through menopause. 6 months or so I started on a patch , that this office prescribed for me and it helped me so much. Today I needed a refill on it and the people "Drs" I saw today would not refill it bc my blood pressure is out of control. That is bull crap, my BP was 150/91, which it's always a little high at the Dr office and was the same 6 months ago. Because I would not agree to them throwing more pills at me they denied me the patch. Too much power... read more
