Our son received occupational therapy with Bridget for a sensory processing disorder. He used the ILS (Integrated Listening System). We are extremely pleased with how well he did with everything! From being terrified of swinging, to practically begging Bridget to go on the zipline! We felt so comfortable there and every single person we came into contact with was warm and welcoming! Highly recommend Abilities for all of your speech and occupational therapy needs!!

There are not enough words to express how amazing this place has been for our family. My son entered feeding therapy eating 4 things, and refused to eat anything else. He graduated and now eats everything I cook. This has made meal times so much easier in our house. He has also been in occupational therapy with Miss Bridget for about a year. He used to hate all things "dirty/messy", had severe stranger danger, and a few other things. He will be graduating soon and is like a totally different kid. He loves people and we are c... read more

My son was not able to eat fruits and vegetables when he transitioned from baby food. We went for an evaluation and learned that he had some sensory issues with food textures, sensitivity to light, and sensitivity to sound. Mrs. Margaret worked with him weekly to address his feeding issues. She showed me her approach to feeding therapy to use at home. Over the course of 2-years, we both worked with him and she had show-off days to celebrate his successes. He went from a limited diet to eating a wide variety of foods. He now ... read more

I cannot say enough great things about this facility! Being a parent of children who pretty much live in facilities for therapy, this one was by far the best! From feeling welcomed as soon as we opened the door to the amazing staff and therapists! It’s a very great feeling to be appreciated as a parent for doing more than just bringing our children to therapy and they go above and beyond to show us just how much they appreciate us! Every single person that we dealt with at Abilites were more than nice and extremely helpful. ... read more

Abilities has made such a difference for my son. He had a stutter and was given the tools to control his speech rate, and techniques when he may feel “a bump” about to happen. His language has improved and his confidence as well. I loved that the therapists came to his school during the school year so I didn’t have to add that to an already busy after school schedule. The therapists are so informative and truly care about helping that child succeed and graduating them! That was important to us that therapy didn’t linger just... read more

My daughter attended speech and occupational therapy from age 3 through Kindergarten for a language processing disorder, and motor delays, which affected her early reading and writing skills. I couldn't ask for a better group of therapists. She is now in second grade, an honor roll student, and is reading on 5th grade level. Without the help of the Abilities team, I dont think she would be excelling the way she is now.
