Nice, casual ride on an old train. Takes you to an old grain mill the next town over.
The website could be a little more descriptive. We booked the car with the fixed booth seats but in the end we all got on one car. I suspect since they didn’t have too many people riding that they put us on one car. The first diesel engine had something go wrong and they had to deal with the fire department. Not a big deal because they had another one to pull the train. The St. Patrick’s meal was somewhat of a disappointment. We expected that a catered meal would be professional made. We had a fantastic time riding the historic train with the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad. The trip from Abilene to Enterprise feels like stepping back in time. The ride itself is relaxing and scenic, and the staff make the experience even more enjoyable.
