Used sunflower summer passes and enjoyed an amazing ride. Riding in the gondola style /open air car was a little hot today (95°) but the enclosed car was wonderful, and the ride was beautiful.
An exceptional heritage railroad over scenic farmland and a historic bridge over the Smoky Hill River. Ride the train on an excursion, or take the delicious dinner train, sometimes with additional entertainment!
I thought this would be family friendly but I don’t recommend for kids 5 and younger. Families are happily welcomed aboard but the train goes at about 10 mph which makes for a dull train ride with a pretty countryside but nothing of interest to kids. The guide is knowledgeable and talks the whole train ride to and from Enterprise, but once again, this is not of interest to young kids.
