This is my mother’s doctor and I cannot wait until she switches PCP’s. I’m sure Dr.Love was a great doctor at some point in her career, but currently, she does not listen and passes off her patients to every other specialty (which takes months to get an appointment btw). She has referred my mother every time to the ER because you cannot get an appointment with her for weeks. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Abigail Love. She rarely followed up on my concerns, and I often felt that my care was not a priority. Most communication was handled by nurses through the patient portal, and I was repeatedly told to wait 1 to 3 business days for a response, even when my concerns were urgent. I expected better communication, follow-up, and compassion from my primary care physician. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.
Dr Love is thorough, intelligent, caring, a great listener, and immediately responsive to health issues that may come up. She just happens to be very nice as well as an excellent primary care physician!
My husband and I recently moved closer to the Boston area, and I was searching for a new primary care physician. I reached out to my sister-in-law, who is a nurse, for a recommendation. She immediately suggested her physician, Dr. Abigail Love. I had my first appointment with Dr. Love today, and she was amazing. I'm sure Dr. Love is amazing, I have no doubt of her expertise in medicine. The three star was calculated by five stars for Dr. Love, and then negative two stars for their call system and staff. I called in April 2025 seeking for Dr. Love as a new patient, because their website clearly states Dr. Love is taking new patients.
