Dr. Beard is truly the best! From the very first appointment, she made me feel at ease with her warm and compassionate bedside manner. She is incredibly caring, always takes the time to listen, and explains everything clearly. One of the things I appreciated most was how quickly she called with test results—her communication is excellent and really helped ease my anxiety throughout the process. It’s been almost a year since Dr.Beard performed my excisional biopsy. She was amazing. She spoke to me in detail about the process of every step, what to expect, and answered all of my questions. She showed empathy as well as professional. She maintained communication with me very well throughout the entire process. I couldn’t be more thankful for having her as my surgeon. Dr. Beard was my first experience with a surgeon. From the beginning she was compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and her focas was 100% on me at one of the scariest times in my life. Before and after surgery she patiently answered all my questions. Her PA Traci, is also amazing. She treated me so well, it felt like a friendship. Dr. Abigail Beard is an amazing Dr and an all around human being. She has taken the time to sit down with me and explain each test and was kind enough herself to call me when I had my biopsy done by another off-site facility of TGH. That was a priceless act of kindness and empathy. I have to continue to monitor each 6 months so my relationship with Dr. Beard has not ended and I'm thankful every day that I'm having to go through this new journey in my life with such a professional!
