He helped me when I had nodules on my thyroid and hyperthyrodysm and was very informative and made sure to check everything. He was good at telling me what was going on in a very direct way but was very confident in his direction to go with my situation and he was proved right eachtime. He can be trusted and is a very good doctor and the nurses are very caring also.
He did not listen well. I had gained a lot of weight and was not sleeping well. I was concerned that I was kicking all night. He said I did not have restless leg syndrome. He said eat less, exercise more. I was already doing that, consuming 1200 or less a day. found a new Dr. and was sent to a sleep study and taken off levo. Dr. Abid diagnosed me with CFS/Fibromyalgia, I still have not found a Doctor in Fairbanks Alaska who has treated my condition with anything other than pain meds. or anti depressants. The fatigue is too much to be a superhero in the kitchen. ?? Early 1990’s
Dr. Abid is an astute doctor. He has keen intuition and knows the body so well, that he can perform the most coordinated balancing act in prescribing medicine for his patients. He kept my father alive for 92 years, against all odds, and is now doing the same for my mother. I'm grateful that he is her physician.
