I can't recommend Abhaya Yoga enough! I took my 200 hour training here and it was truly the most enriching and authentic experience I could have asked for. Abhaya creates a very welcoming and safe space for learning, and does a great job of cultivating a community amongst your class.
If you are looking for a Yoga Teacher Training Program, I think this is the absolute best one available in the NYC area. First off, the studio is gorgeous and it is also a community. You don't need to live nearby to feel a part of the community. I've taken yoga for decades all over the city and never experienced anything else like it. Incredibly knowledgeable yoga instructors, I mainly go for an early morning class and I love the variety, monthly themes and excellent flows. It’s a welcoming studio and I quickly felt comfortable.
So fortunate that this is in my neighborhood. What a welcoming, inclusive community - perfect for any level of yogi.
