I had been coming to Abe’s for years until I brought my pump in for a rebuild. Spoke to Abe in person and agreed on rebuilding my variable speed pump. Instead Abe replaced my variable speed motor with a single speed without my consent and threw away the original parts. Spoke to Abe over the phone and he said he would fix it. When I returned to the store to have it Replaced with a variable speed motor it was twice the price I was told originally and their price list was no longer on the wall. Good family owned company. Prices are fair and their employees are knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.
Our pool pump stoped working so I called them to book an appointment for them to come out an give me an estimate. The lady who booked the appointment told me that I needed to be there for the appointment. I took off an entire day from work and they never showed up. I called them the next morning to see why they didnt show up and the owner told me he was swamped but didnt have the courtesy or decency to call me and let me know that they were not going to show.
