The community-communal is nice looking and a great neighborhood. It's not the rules that are an issue it's who they require to follow them...First off, the walls and floors are extremely thin, and there are too many condos in one building for me. At night it turns into a capsule it's very quiet which result in hearing everyone. You can hear the water moving through the pipes like it's in the same apartment/room. Anyone posting overwhelmingly positive reviews of this association is either a senior, who desperately want Aberdeen Village to exclusively be a senior living community, and/or a board member trying to counteract the overall negative ratings. If you’re under 60, have children, or plan to start a family — this is not the community for you. While these condos are not officially designated as a 55+ or senior living community, they are operated as if they are. The HOA and property management company clearly prioritize the preferences and comfort of senior residents, often at the direct expense of younger families and working professionals. people who are complaning about the HOA rules never lived in a HOA develooment. Aberdeen HOA is very reasonable, the renters don't live by the rules and don't like to follow rules. They need to leave and go in apartment living. I lived in other HOA communities and Aberdeen is way too lenient. For years this never followed the Bye laws and now its about time they do
