On Sunday 7th September 2025, my daughter almost drowned during a swimming class at Aberdeen Aquatics Centre. She was under the water for over 45 seconds while both the instructor and the lifeguard failed to notice. Despite parents (including myself) shouting for help, there was no response until another instructor from a different class stepped in to save her.
