Abercrombie is the best. A few years ago I needed transmission repairs for a 2006 Pontiac Montana. Abercrombie fixed it quickly and at a fair price. I had the transmission rebuilt on a 2003 Lexus es300,..before they put it back together they found 2 bad motor mounts and a bad drive axel..Save me some money there on labor..Got all the repairs done in a timely fashion..Now its driving like a new one..Good job guys!! I ive in the area and evertime i go by there..the lot is full!! Must be doing something right!!
RecommendedTook my truck to Abercrombie by recommendation from Patton's Auto and Muffler in Hiram. I trust Amos at Patton's and knew he would only recommend someone trustworthy. Russell fixed my truck right away, and at a very reasonable price. A transmission repair could be extremely expensive if you were mislead with the diagnosis. I guess you could consider this a double 5 star review as I recommend Abercrombie Transmission and also Patton's Auto and Muffler. Good technicians and very professional and trustworthy companies.

Fast friendly service, very competitive prices and will get you on the road in no time.They are working on our Avalanche right now and had the transmission rebuilt in our Yukon last year and still going strong. l always use these guys for all my transmission needs.
Clutch went out while driving down the interstate. I was able to limp it in late on a Friday. They opened up Monday and I drove it away that afternoon, with a heavy-duty clutch kit for under a grand. Thanks for the speedy service!
My transmission went out in my car. Picked it up after a week. Paid of total of $2,650. Picked my car up, drove it a total of 10 miles and it broke down on the side of the road with the exact same thing I took it to them for. Not to mention when they sent 2 guys to help me it was one of the rudest young men I've ever met! He was rolling his eyes, shaking his head at me. Will never use them again nor recommend!
They rebuilt my transmission last year and just followed through with the free 12-month service that they promised plus another minor repair. These folks were good natured people who treated me with respect and honesty and even gave me some good referrals for other work I needed done. I highly recommend them.
