The best high tea experience you could ask for, lovingly home made and served by the family. We will be back!
Probably the most magnificent historic house I've ever visited in Australia. Stunning on the outside, and even more spectacular on the inside. You can spend hours here reading about the history of the house and looking at all the wonderful artworks and treasures. It's truly a cultural gem that you should not miss when you are in Bathurst.
We had an important family birthday party at this marvellous venue yesterday. We started with champagne and orange juice on the verandah with views over the garden and countryside. Then we had a delicious 3 course lunch in the elegant ballroom cooked by Xanthe who is a wonderful cook. The price of the meal was very reasonable.
