I am writing to express serious concerns about my appointment with Dr. Timer on June 8, 2026. After waiting 4 months and recovering from a month-long ICU stay that included a coma, I expected a thorough visit. Instead, Dr. Timer did not review my chart or medication list beforehand, walked out while I was speaking, and dismissed my questions by referring me to a handout from the nurse. Dr. Yimer took plenty of time asking questions, then ordered appropriate tests, then correctly diagnosed my diabetes.Dr. Yimer took the time to explain everything so clearly and thoroughly, making me feel completely informed about diabetes'. He was available to address any issues in between appointments. My condition improved substantially, the course of treatment that he recommended for diabetes and A1C that he monitored every step of the way with care and concern. I love Dr. Yimer! He's my 93yo mom's Endocrinologist and he's doing a great job managing her diabetes. He is very attentive to her needs and works with her to make healthy and safe choices that align with her preferences.
