I have not even got past trying to call to make an appointment. Their old-fashioned phone system keeps repeating itself when I dial 0 for assistance, then I try pressing any number and it says "Thank you for calling, noone is here to take your call. Goodbye" then disconnects. LOL. Well Goodbye A'Beckett Medical Center. I deserve more respect than that! I'm going somewhere else, and you miss out. Companies like this don't deserve your business. 15 years I've been on the same medication. After a 4 minute telephone consultation to renew my script I'm charged same rate as a full consultation. No more bulk billing. Is the fair ? So not only am I charged $40 every time I go to the chemist, I'm charged full consultation fee for the doctor to push a button on their computer 😡
Pretty silly to bill +$40 for less than 10 minutes of consulting, when you're made to wait more than 30 minutes, as if your time is worthless to them. GPs and receptionists are friendly and nice but gosh if you could bill them for the time wasted in waiting then you'd probably break even.
