Dr. Kamana has not only expert knowledge of her field, but she also cares about her patients. I was in the hospital with sepsis but no specific treatment plan. My body was undergoing unexplained fluid in my hip area which the other doctors were treating as a separate issue. Dr. Kamana was the only one who said that the two were related. It was only her intervention that allowed me to be able to walk without pain and go back to my normal life. i could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr Pillai. Have been seeing her for past 5 yrs. Knows her stuff . Great staff also.
Got pneumonia, ambulance to the ER just before Christmas. After being taken to a room, all the nurses and everyone really prepared me and started their job to heal me. Dr. Pillai arrived early next morning ,checked the charts and reassured me that everything will be alright. Told me the plan of action and medications I'd be on. Regrettably, my experiences with Dr. Pillai and her team were far from pleasant. Dr. Pillai's demeanor was condescending and sarcastic, which greatly undermined my confidence in her care. Additionally, her nurse needlessly frightened me with unrelated scenarios, causing unnecessary anxiety. Furthermore, despite repeatedly requesting my chest scan results, I was unable to obtain them from Dr. Pillai's office.
