Dr. Adelquader uses the newest technology and techniques available to diagnose and treat complex digestive problems. His skill allowed my wife to avoid major, life-altering surgery. He is an amazing man and human being.
While the Dr is wonderful, very thorough, and recommended by my coworkers in the OR. Asked them who is the best and they gave me the referral. Now his office staff on the other hand are terrible. Had surgery scheduled in November. Spent $1000's of dollars getting ready for the surgery. Family took days off of work, etc. 1 hr before I was to be at the hospital, they called to cancel because the office had not completed the paperwork for insurance Auth. Simply put, Dr Abdelqader made it possible for me to eat without choking with the POEM procedure. His expertise in his field and also his demeanor are things that really meant a lot. He takes the time to explain in detail and he listens intently, never rushed or hurried during the office visits. I feel very fortunate that Dr. Abdelqader practices in our area and I thank him for making my life the way it should be, as I am truly grateful.
Surgery canceled as we were driving to the hospital, due to the fact that the office staff didn't have insurance approval and didn't notify the surgeon or us of the denial. Very unprofessional. Cost a ton of money in preparation for surgery. The doctor was apologetic, but sorry doesn't get my money back.
