The short version of the story is I contracted with ABC Party Rental in Las Cruces to provide tables, chairs, and linens for mine and my partners wedding on Nov. 21. On the afternoon of Nov 20th their delivery drive arrived and in the process of pulling into the driveway hit the power supply to the house. My company called in an order and the associate didn't get all the information that was required to process the credit card. Upon arrival at the shop they told me that they couldn't process the order until it was paid in full and proceeded to tell me that I should pay for the items myself and have my company reimburse me. A half hour later and multiple phone calls later I was able to arrange payment and the manager then wanted to make sure that I had authorization from my company to pick up the merchandise.
