They claim they’re high a mighty with investigating sexual abuse, but yet they ask for consent to even look at the kids. Since when??!! If it’s an investigation it should be looked into no matter what. I’d rather my kids be uncomfortable for an investigation then live in harms way for their whole 18 years. Dhs and abc house will claim they investigate by getting scar tissue etc. HAHAHAHHA it’s a joke they don’t do any of that. They ask basic questions to the kids and that’s it!! They do nothing else. My child at age 7 was abused by her father, she told many people there, they were supposed to be a advocate for her. My child is legal age now, and has spoken out against ABC House, and wants all the parents and kids to know, that this place needs to be shut down. They did tests on her that I never knew about, they bribed her with toys and food not to say anything. My child didn't get better until she got counseling out of Albany and away from ABC House. If you care about children then don't bring them here.

Horrible experience they don't listen or offer services they continue to let my children get hurt by the same person repeatedly and they don't believe the kids. Its easier for these people working here to assume my kids are coached then to do something regarding the issues and help my kids. The doctor told me my son is autistic even though he is not. They were rude to me and not friendly at all. I will never step another foot in this place they do not help the kids that actually need help

Lovely new building, full of interesting art pieces, and beautiful fish tanks. Compassionate professionals were the silver lining!
