I've had a very disappointing experience with AbbVie's patient support. Communication has been inconsistent and unreliable, and after weeks of trying to coordinate my prescription through their system, I ultimately had to contact the pharmacy myself and pay out of pocket to get my medication on time. (over a thousand dollars despite having a certain level of coverage through my benefits - yet they were unable after multiple emails and calls manage connecting this on the system) The process has been confusing and poorly manag... read more

I would score a zero, but that is not an option. I have been working for 13 months on a billing concern, with no results. Over 65 hours have been spent on the phone. I have repeatedly asked them to refer to what their employees have said to me on recorded calls. The evidence will show they have lied several times. When a class action lawsuit is completed, the public will know AbbVie is fraudulent in many ways. In the meantime, I implore prescribers to not use AbbVie.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I joined the ***** savings program thinking they would help me with my out-of-pocket expenses for my ***** for my migraines. They kept denying my claims. Was never enough information even with 3-way calls with the providers. Took almost 4.5 months to become approved. Having over a $1400 out of pocket expense they only covered $190! Was a waste of my time and energy! Don't waste your time with this company! They want to find every excuse to deny your claims!

After initially worried that the program just wasn’t going to work it finally came through. Be persistent and keep calling. If uploading forms is too difficult just mail them in.

I think ***** is just collecting information on this so-called patient assistance program. I'm pretty good about knowing how to submit information after many years of working in healthcare. I submitted my information accurately numerous times, and they continually tell me I have not. I smell a rat.

I contacted ***** about the possibility of the assistance program for ******* what a joke the application is you have to fax everything its so lame there's two lines that need a signature that I missed one I got a text so I signed it and sent it back . I thought it would be good but no I got a text a couple of hours later saying that they needed more information on my financial situation and there is nothing on the application that says they need financial information ***** could care less about me or my health . I have been waiting since January 31st for their so called assistance. Since my application they've been asking for the information from the doctor and every time the doctor sends in the information they say it's not correct so back and forth back and forth back and forth several times and then they decided they need a manual signature from the doctor not an electronic signature. They tell us about the great Abbvie Assist program available for people who's health insurance coverage doesn't cover Abbvie specialty drugs. My daughter was that person. We went back and forth with Abbvie Assist for months providing them all the things they requested proving in writing that our health insurance company will not cover this drug yet Abbvie looked for a way to deny assistance anyway. Sorry that a lot of you are not happy, but they took great care of me! I got transferred to a new doctor when my coverage expired. AbbVie kept notifying me to let me know they have still not heard from my new doctor! This went on for months! They could've just denied my claim, but they didn't. I finally found a doctor that would complete my application and I was approved and have already received my meds! Been on assistance since my 2021 change to ********. Copay unbelievable! Thank you.
