Abbott's Frozen Custard is a long standing Ice cream shop within the Needham area. There was multiple other locations across Massachusetts, however this is the last one left. The ice cream itself is pretty soft and smooth, maintaining that consistency even after multiple days in the freezer. The ice cream isn't too sweet, and has a nice taste that lets the ice cream go well with other desserts as well.
The frozen custard was amazing! But they do add their own tip to your bills without asking.
I always enjoyed a treat from Abbott’s but recently I met the owner and I’ve been an even bigger of this business since then. We had a chat and I was impressed by how much he cared about being as fair and generous as he can to his employees. Good man. No wonder they are so polite, patient, and helpful every time I stop by for a cone. (I loved every flavor I tried so far but chocolate almond and raspberry are just too good!)
I thought the coffee milkshake was meh, it was not coffee heavy but vanilla heavy. The custards were alright too.
