Was told my urgent bloods would take 3 days, currently on day 5 and still nothing has come through to my doc, very disappointing. Waited for ages to finally be called in and the lady taking the test didn’t seem happy at all :(
I visited Abbott Pathology today and Rupal was my phlebotomist. I hadn't had fluids as I was fasting for an ultrasound. Rupal was gentle and hit my vein first time, no issues at all. Thank you Rupal. You made a potentially stressful experience, bearable
Terrible service. She is rude not suitable for this job.i was there waiting for over an hour then when I go in she tells me I had to make an app which my doc already did . She was refusing to get my test done and was very rude. Please consider either training her or maybe a different person who is kind and a great communicator who can deal with people.
I normally have a hard time finding a vein for blood tests, this can lead to several painful attempts. The girls at Abbots in Modbury Medical and Dental , have consistently been able to take my blood with little to no pain It is tucked away in a corner, and the signage is better now, just ask the reception to point to the door. You normally don’t wait long. 9 out if 10, would bleed here again
