My family recently had to use an ambulance service. 911 was called,the paramedics came into the house to assist my relative that could NOT walk. He was in bed and they had to use a "lift" belt to help him up. They were able to get him up and get him out of bed. They asked him to take a couple side steps (with their asst.) he did.
