We have a furry little spitfire named Smokey. We just had him neutered at Gladys Avenue clinic. They put an isolation cone 'round his neck; which was supposed to keep him from licking/scratching the Surgery site. It was on for about 30 minutes. Took him back to Gladys. Another hour and he had already freed himself (hadn't even left the kitty carrier!). At our wits end; we contacted Valley Animal Clinic. The staff were incredible here. They made every attempt to help me and my sweet girl Bella, and their compassion when it came to giving me peace of mind about the heartbreaking decision I had to make that day will never be forgotten. While I hope to never need their services again, there's nowhere else I would rather go. Thank you guys.
Since new management , what an awesome place
Super expensive place; I went to another vet in Chilliwack and saved 700+ dollars. I understand it’s a business but don’t try and overcharge me and then make me wait in the examination room for 10+ minutes. I almost felt like I got robbed going here. $125 just for consultation where I paid $45 at another vet.
Do not take your pet to this vet. Took a 10 month old kitten in with a low grade fever and a lump on her side. Vet laughed and said kittens normally have a high temp and it’s our fault we over fed her and laughed. Two days later lump is worse she is at another vet getting surgery to drain an infection on her side full of puss. When I called to tell them what happened they just offered another visit for free. Happy it ended well for us but it could have been worse if we just listened to this vet.
