Reception are a joke It’s been over a month since my medication was meant to have started, and reception never did their job in updating my file. I’ve called and emailed multiple times. Now they want me to book in again to see the Dr and spend $450 for him to do what he was meant to do last time?? If I had any other options I would never come back to this place again, my mental health is getting worse not better
I went to get assessed for ADHD by Dr John Adegboye and he was extremely rude. He accused me of being on all these different drugs and gave me no diagnosis. When I asked if I had ADHD or not he literally said “I don’t know, I can’t answer that” I left feeling so lost and defeated. When I told him I was on certain medication he said “your only telling me that because I’m going to send you for a drug test” he literally cut me off and I didn’t get a chance to tell him everything yet before he moved on to the next topic. They seem to be under much pressure. Received this advice today after a family member was referred “ The review process (after completing an online survey) can take up to 8 weeks, and our new patient appointments are available in 3-5 months’ time.” Ouch. Much pressure on them but I guess the silver lining is their business is extraordinarily profitable.
Good experience overall! I was rejected in another place and I managed to get an appointment sooner than expected at Abbotsford. The girls at reception are great! They had patience with me every time I emailed or called for help with something. I’m happy with my doctor and I can tell he genuinely wants the best for me. (Dr babangida) Thank you ☺️
