I had the opportunity to meet a few doctors during my first pregnancy and absolutely adored all of them. Dr. Driedger was my primary doctor and he was so personable and caring knew a lot about me and my husband and always knew who I was when I walked through that door. We decided to go with Abbotsford Maternity Group for our second pregnancy after having a bad experience elsewhere, which resulted in a traumatic birth, and we couldn’t have been happier! Dr Aiton was so incredible the entire way along. She was attentive, kind and knowledgeable. She never made us feel rushed, answered every question we had and was always on top of everything. It felt like Dr Aiton really cared. The delivery was very smooth and I couldn’t recommend them more!
I transferred to Abbotsford Maternity Group at 18 weeks after initially receiving midwifery care that was not the right fit for me. My first birth was a traumatic experience that resulted in a cesarean section, which I felt was unnecessary. Dr.Tracey was a fantastic doctor through my whole pregnancy and after ( my final appointment was today ). Always showed compassion while keeping a comforting level of professionalism as a doctor should have. Dr. Ation was the one who delivered my baby and she was also great. I really wish I went through my first pregnancy with them and I 10/10 recommend. It’s just a generally very safe space especially with how overwhelming pregnancy can be
My experience last year with Dr Mckenzie was amazing, all my concerns were being listened, she was very thorough in each follow up Visits and she was even there on my delivery day which made it far less stressful along with Dr Kenyon who was wonderful and kind as well.
