I transferred to Abbotsford Maternity Group at 18 weeks after initially receiving midwifery care that was not the right fit for me. My first birth was a traumatic experience that resulted in a cesarean section, which I felt was unnecessary. Dr.Tracey was a fantastic doctor through my whole pregnancy and after ( my final appointment was today ). Always showed compassion while keeping a comforting level of professionalism as a doctor should have. Dr. Ation was the one who delivered my baby and she was also great. I really wish I went through my first pregnancy with them and I 10/10 recommend. It’s just a generally very safe space especially with how overwhelming pregnancy can be
My experience last year with Dr Mckenzie was amazing, all my concerns were being listened, she was very thorough in each follow up Visits and she was even there on my delivery day which made it far less stressful along with Dr Kenyon who was wonderful and kind as well.
Im grateful for my journey with the abbotsford maternity group. It wasn't easy but I had the best doctor Andrea Heath. She walk me through everything even when I wanted to give up. Thank you. Doctor Lauren Swann did a good job as well. Thank you. The entire staff is amazing and informative. My delivery doctor Tuffnell was amazing. I had a great experience and would recommend it to everyone.
