Abbots engineer fitted a new kitchen tap - a Bristan Echo Easyfit Sink Mixer. He charged £271.80 (inc.VAT) for this tap. You can buy the identical tap at Screwfix for £99.90 (inc.VAT). He also charged £164.40 (inc.VAT) for 3/4 hour attendance. If you want to avoid being seriously ripped off, stay away from this plumber!
