The Convent in Franklin Tas is brilliant. For a quite reasonable price we had a semi-detached cottage with bedroom, lounge, dining area and bathroom - all well-equipped and a short walk from town. Facilities included BBQ, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine with dryer, wifi, and a pantry stacked with all kinds of handy things for self-catering.
This beautiful and stylish renovation exceeding expectations with every detail thought through, luxurious and supremely comfortable. Chocolates, wine, flowers and fresh sourdough on arrival. Great cafes just steps away and helpful holiday tips from Gavin. We will definitely return.

Gavin provided us with provisions that we never expected, the property is immaculate in all ways. An ideal relaxing and wonderful stay, the best we have experienced in all our travels in Tasmania.

I've travelled a lot, all over the world. This was genuinely one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in. The gardens were so lovely. The accom was immaculate- everything you could ever need and more in a beautiful converted Abbey filled with gorgeous pieces of furniture (kudos to the owners, they have fantastic taste and eye for detail). The hospitality we received was also fantastic. Perfect location also. Easy to arrive. Easy to stay. Not so easy to leave because it's gorgeous.
