As much as I like to support our local businesses I felt compelled to post this. I splurged and paid $24 for a 4 person shepherds pie. Sadly it was about 90% mashed potatoes and very little beef.
Beautiful place with lots to see and do. I went for disc golf and had a great time. The course is really well maintained and lots of variety. Normally signage is the biggest gap a course has, but Abbey Gardens was really well done. No problem finding my way. Thank you! P.S. watch for hornets by the portable washroom at the start of the course!
Great little store with fresh produce and lots of great local items. And the homemade sandwiches always hit the spot! Our son also attended camp here this summer while we were up at the cottage, and he had an absolute blast. The amazing leadership and counsellors clearly made a big impact. The outdoor-focused camp has made him even more curious, adventurous, and eager to explore, which has been so great to see. We’ll definitely be back — both for the store and the camp!
Great place to shop for local produce, eat some lunch and explore with kids :)
